Driven by a clear need for uniform powerboating instruction and education standards, the Recreational Powerboating Association (RPBA) is building a national network of professionally accredited powerboating schools. RPBA Certification Facilities give powerboaters of all experience levels an opportunity to become more competent and confident in their abilities. RPBA Affiliate Schools can assure powerboaters a quality education when they attend any of the RPBA Certification Facilities. Contact US to learn more on how to become a RPBA Afilliate.
Here is a great opportunity for you to become one of the first Certified Powerboat Instructors with The Recreational Powerboating Association.
Powerboat Instructor Qualification Clinics (IQC) are designed for individuals who want to teach our first powerboat certification program entitled "Close Quarters Powerboat Handling (CQPH)".
The Powerboating Underway Modules are as follows:
Stern Drive (SDPI - 2103)
Single Inboard (SIPI - 2101)
Twin Inboard (TIPI - 2102)
Classroom Module (required)
When you sign up for your first Powerboat IQC, you will need to register for the required Classroom Module and one of the Underway Modules and you may also register for additional Modules at the same time or take them sometime in the future. Click here to download the PDF application, print, fill-out and fax to the RPBA at 310.822.4741. Thanks for your interest in our new powerboat certification program. We look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming Powerboat Instructor Qualification Clinics!
The RPBA extends to you an invite to join us on PowerBoatDOC, the Boaters Digital Online Community. Membership is free and it is a great resource for all powerboaters. At the PowerBoatDOC you can share videos, audio, photos, and stories. PowerBoatDOC also has email, blogs, real-time instant messaging (IM), web video, unlimited uploads and possibilities.
